Keith has won several ribbons at the Texas Taxidermy Competition and the National Taxidermy Competition since 2004. Keith was elected as a Board Member for the Texas Taxidermy Association in 2006.

Keith and Kim have been involved with the National Wild Turkey Federation since 1993. In 2002 they started a local NWTF chapter in Bastrop County which covers Bastrop, Fayette, Lee, Caldwell and part of Travis Counties

Keith attended the Central Texas Taxidermy School. He then went on to train under a world, national and Texas taxidermy award winner for almost 2 years. Since then Keith and Kim have been running a full time studio serving many retail and wholesale clients.
